I know it's random! :) So, here are some fashions I'd love to have this hanging in my closet:

Ok... I need to stop looking- I already have like 10 more dresses to show you and I just began searching!

I have discovered ModCloth.

But for your computer's convenience, I went from about a million pictures to about 17 I think.
So here we go:

Vintage Teacher HeelsVintage Teacher Heels   So, how do you like them? I simply adore vintage, and even though they don't have 40's (they only go back to 50's), I still love a lot of it. 40's may be my favorite but 50's are adorable too, and even *gasp* sometimes the sixties! :)
Signing off,

Vintage Christmas Dress

It's time for some Vintage Clothing!!! (Two posts in one day? Haven't done that for a while!) Look and enjoy.... and comment- what's your favorite Christmas outfit?

Rhema Marvanne, 7-year-old singer- she is a Christian little girl and loves to sing worship songs. Her mother died of cancer when she was young, and now she uses the gift of singing that God gave her to spread the gospel through worship. I love this song- it's so catchy!

4 weeks and 6 days until Christmas,

The Andy Griffith Show

{via google web search}

We've been watching a lot of these lately- we've seen I think all the ones from the 1st season, and a few from the 2nd season. The 1st season cannot be beat! They are so funny. The 2nd season episodes aren't as humorous- don't get me wrong, I like them, but they just aren't as "hahaha!". All the ones I've seen are clean and don't have anything bad in them, and that's really nice to see in a TV show! That's why I like old ones.

What have you been watching lately?

Now for a quick little vintage fashion: Definitely not "The Andy Griffith Show" time period... but I sure do love these dresses! (All dresses for sale at www.recollections.biz)

1940 Pictures

Hello everyone! (When was the last time I posted? It seems like forever ago.)
Browsing today, I found these most adorable vintage pictures.

These first three are actually not vintage pictures, but vintage outfits. LOVE!

This is Myrna Loy- we've watched her in the movie "Mr. Blanding Builds his Dream House" (not my favorite movie, a little too.... long). She's a cute actress though.

Know who this is?
Shirley Temple! She's 15 here, sitting on the diving board of her backyard pool. I want a backyard pool!!!!

Cute pattern- I totally want that dress! Very Nancy-Drewish.

And this one, too!

Time for a little guessing game....

Who's the bride? Answer: I don't know.
Who's the bridesmaid? Answer: I don't know.
Who's the flower girl? This one isn't to hard for fans...
Shirley Temple!!!!!!!
She is SOOO adorable in this picture, is she not? I love it!
I found all but the first three pictures at http://www.sensibility.com/

Ebay, although I don't usually like it too much, has a great array of vintage dresses- and in this selection I found many that appealed to my fashion senses. :):):)
The last one in particular I like- the ruffles on the back, the color combinations.... eep!
Have a great week!

That's My Style

Edited to note: This is my 200th post!!! Yay!

Vintage isn't just a time, it's definitely a style! Stores are carrying whole sections of vintage. Lace and pale colors, faded blues and pinks, pearls and gems, are everywhere.

I found this headband- isn't it so sweet? It's adorable. I'd love to have it for myself!

This skirt is wonderful.

My kind of vintage, from the 40's, is usually denim skirt and blouse or full skirt with a petticoat and button-up shirt. Oh yah, that's my style!

This is pretty cute- not sure I like the big red-orange buttons though!

This is too cute of a picture. Don't you just love it?

Thanks for looking- sorry if I've been posting waaaayy to much clothing posts- I just got hit with inspiration! Lol. I'm definitely thinking about asking my mom if I can make a Polyvore account. It sounds awesome! I get some of my pictures there- that's why all the pictures are so small. But it's a good selection of pictures- I love it! See you later,
Mary
