Thursday's Dresses 10

This is the final Thursday's Dresses...
it's actually kind of a relief for me because I started to have trouble thinking up different kinds of dresses to post about HAHA.....
I know that's not very funny.

So I had some fun inspiration today...

Mother-Daughter Dresses!
This is So adorable.. I actually like the
little girl's dress better because
it flares out at the bottom :)

AAHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
For those of you out there who
know me well....................
IT LOOKS SO VINTAGE!!
*gasp* *sniffle* I want that! *sigh*

A-hem.

Anyways....

LOVE the combination of black and white here. It's totally classy but you can totally imagine a little girl wearing it. :)

And that's the end of the last Thursday's Dresses.
I hope you enjoyed all of them IMMENSELY...
alright that's kind of dramatic.
I hope you liked them
and didn't discard them like yesterday's... uh....refried beans.
Just to let you know, in my family, refried beans sit in the fridge for about two weeks
in a tupperware container.... and might I add they don't... a-hem... well, they don't exactly
smell great....to put it lightly.
Like we need about 4,000 air fresheners in this square foot of the house.
Just kidding it's not that bad. More like 2,000.

Ok enough of my lame attempts to be funny...
Why did I just go into humor-land over refried beans???
Never mind.
Ok so GOODBYE, Thursday's Dresses! :)

Thursday's Dresses 9

Hello everyone! I just realized... well.... on monday... that I never got around to doing Macro Monday. I actually realized that even though it sounded fun I didn't really want to do it that much... so... uh.... yah.

Anyway, this weeks Thursday's Dresses is focused around 1800's style dresses. I love the styles even though sometimes they can be a bit low cut. They are gorgeous all the same.

This is the most gorgeous wedding dress. I love all the buttons!

I have a short prayer request. I lately have really been wanting to use my talents in acting but it seems like there are no outlets for this ability. Please pray that I will know what God wants me to do or that I can be content waiting and listening.

Thank you guys so much!
:)
Love yah

Thursday's Dresses 7

It seems like everyone does a photography blog or a vintage blog, and I don't want to be just an everybody.
But yet I still do photography and vintage.
Well, I guess that's the fad and I'm caught up in a whirlwind of it. But I do really love vintage, not just as a fad. It holds some sort of mysterious charm to it.
Speaking of mysterious, Nancy Drew book 26, The Clue of the Leaning Chimney, is the book I'm on now. If you've been following my blog for a while you know that I am reading all the good Nancy Drew Classic Hardcovers in order. So far, 3 haven't been good and 1 was a tiny bit questionable but ok.
What books do you enjoy reading? Working on any series?
Vintage!
I also love Boxcar Children- mostly the first ones, and that's vintage as well. :)

This is such an adorable dress!

Thursday's Dresses 6

Hello and welcome to this week's Thursday's Dresses! It's funny to me that I'm a writer but my blog is more about fashion than books. I guess that's alright because I am not an average person- I am unique!

My first dress is this ADORABLE calico ruffly brown vintage dress... long explaination but that's what it is! :)

This is such a pretty dress. I don't like the neckline- but it is quite pretty.

AHHH LOVE IT! I really love the 1940's housewife look. Don't you?

So I have some blogs statistics-
1. I have more than 1,000 views now!
2. I have 7 followers.
3. My giveaway ends in two days and I only have 2 contestants so far... enter soon and tell all your friends! Love it!

Thursday's Dresses 5

If you love her as much as me, you've already guessed who she is....
Jane Powell!
This Thursday's Dresses was dedicated to her. She is so beautiful and was a wonderful actress! She also played in my favorite movie of all times, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers. I'm sure that I've mentioned that to you a few billion times but I guess it's worth repeating. It's my favorite musical, favorite movie... favorite story. :)

Thursday's Dresses 4

Today's Thursday's Dresses is featuring Jane Austen style dresses.
I am not usually a fan of Jane Austen books and movies simply because the lovey-dovey matchmaker movies don't suit me, but the dresses are very pretty and deserve as much credit as they can get.
My personal favorite is the last one that Emma is wearing. The powder-blue color and the bow make it so pretty! If I could have any of the dresses I would definitly choose that one.

What should my next Thursday's Dresses post be on? Please comment and tell me your ideas, I'll choose one for next week.

Valentine's Day is almost here! What should I do to celebrate the day?

I'm Back!

Hey Everyone! It's been a week. I have to say I had trouble checking blogs today because I felt like I was just ruining everything I worked on last week, haha.
Since I didn't do Twosday Favs or Thursday's Dresses, I'm doing them both here :)

I love vintage- and I've promised you the Oscars! Hope you like it.

Thursday's Dresses 3

Well, I have labeled just about every post I have published on this blog....so now I can make it easier for you to find stuff on my blog! Welcome to Thursday's Dresses! This week's post is all about gingham. Gingham is my favorite!
Downright ADORABLE! I love it!

This one I would like to lengthen a little-- ok alot! But the top is SO cute!! Very nancy-drewish.

I'm not too crazy about this one, but I like the gingham on it. It's more of a prairie type dress.

This is a scary picture haha! Her outfit is like... HIDEOUS!!!!!!!!
NEXT WEEK'S TOPIC....
(blaring trumpets)
the OSCARS!!!

This is a mermaid style gown... but it really does look like a mermaid!
