What's up with me July 26th * Blogger of the Month * SURPRISE for you!!!

So to start off my update, I'll show you what I did Sunday Morning:

Ok.... I traced it. :) But it was still fun!

My hollyhocks are blooming!

I tend to them and weed them (sometimes) and water them (a little bit).... :)

The sprinkler was on and was spraying my Tree...and fred

The leaves shimmered with water droplets! It was gorgeous.

Then I happened upon our chest of dress-up on the back porch. They are used for movies made with my friends and plays put on the stage, but they used to be worn out for playing! Me and my sisters would spend hours in these. These are all gunnysax dresses- I love them! They are the best dresses. I didn't realize it until later, but they are hanging up, L to R: Longest to Shortest. :)

Now, here's what this challenge is all about!

The week of July 31st-August 6th is when all participants will start.

During the week, participants will write from a different perspective. That's the most important part of the challenge to understand. So during the week, you'll write like you're a different person! You could pretend like you are a princess stuck in a tower, or a famous singer on tour in Paris, you could be a girl from the 1940's writing in her diary- whatever you want! Your blog has just turned into a creative outlet!

Rules and Regulations:

1. Keep it clean! If your posts have bad words or the like in them, they won't be entered into the contest.

2. Participants have to post at least 3 times during the week challenge to be entered in the giveaway for prizes.

3. Participants will link up their post at Raquel's blog.

Spring Gala Flub

So, sorry about my last post- the whole thing went kablookie hookie and woodle-donged. Haha. But... I really need to go fix it. By the way, the answer to the first question was London. :):)

Spring Gala Blog Party!

1. If you could go anywhere in the world, where would it be?

2. What is the oldest item you own?

Uhhh..... an old book, definitely. From the early 1900's. Either that or the petroleum jelly that my mom got in High School. :) (literally- just yesterday was the first time she had to buy it since High school! CRAZY!)

3. If you had to pick one hero, who would it be?

Jesus Christ.

4. If you could have dinner with any three people, living or dead. Who would it be?

Well since we just watched the Royal Wedding, I think I'd like to dine with Prince William & Kate, and the Queen. That would be amazing.

5. Which do you like better, Coke or Pepsi?

Neither. I dislike pop immensely. (hehe- I don't like saying I hate something so I dislike immensely lol)

6. What would you rather have- chocolate or a cookie?

chocolate. 1, I'm not in the mood for cookies, 2, I only like certain kinds of cookies anyway :)

7. What is your favorite season?

Fall. Better yet, Autumn. Hehe. It sounds so much more.... I don't know, classy or something when you say "Autumn". Don't ask me why.

8. What's your favorite thing about Spring?

All the giveaways. HAHA just kidding. The blooming flowers. I'll actually be posting some tulip pictures soon. :)

9. What's your favorite music?

Ohhh this is a hard one. Either all those awesome christian singers ( Francesca Battestelli, Britt Nicole, Barlowgirl, David Crowder Band, MercyMe) or old hymns. Can I choose both?

10. What's your fashion/personal style?

Skirts and a t-shirt. Basic. Comfortable. But I want to be vintage. Lol. That's why I love my vintage loafers and why I want a hat. :):)

 

 Can I choose more than one? If I had to choose one, it would be London. I'm all about the hats.
