Dancing is so much fun- doing the Virginia Reel, Postie's Jig, and Scottish Polka- it's a lot of fun. We went to a dance a while back, with probably more than a hundred people. We did all those dances and other ones, and it was one of the best times!

Acting

Although I don't really participate too much in the other hobbies I mentioned, I act a lot!

It's got to be one of my favorite things. I really enjoy all the aspects of it, and while it is my favorite thing to do or watch, I like so many other things that I can keep busy for quite a while! :):)

My favorite sport: Well.... we watched a basketball game a few days ago, and that was fun to watch. So that might be my favorite, but I think I'd like any of them. Soccer is really fun to play, so for playing sports I'd probably say soccer, and for watching sports I'd say any of them. :)

My favorite hobby: Acting! And tap dance. I'm not taking lessons for tap right now but I still like to practice sometimes. I love the sound it makes, so tap is definitely my favorite to watch. And acting is my favorite to do. I like to watch and do ice skating! :):)

Now you may have all heard that I really have been wanting to......

Tap dance.

AND a few nights ago, I was confronted (that's kind of a big word lol) and I suddenly realized that I might NOT be able to. Physically, I might not be able to. This wasn't something that I was just WAITING to happen. I wasn't just hoping that I would come across the right size and then, ta-daa, I could take lessons.

I had engraved in my mind that I was going to be able to do them.

But the truth was, I might not.

So, lying on my floor in deep thought (don't tell me you never just lay on your bedroom floor- lol) I remembered that just the day before my sister had given something up to God- and just hours later was given an answer. I gave it up to God. I don't know how to give things up to God, I had never really had to before. But I did, and I knew that God would help me give it up to him.

That night I went to my first tap dance lesson.

I feel amazing! Sure, I'm a bit sore but I should be, that's normal.

Give it up to God and get answers!! Lol! Lesson learned!

Praise God from whom all blessings flow...

Today....

was a sad day.

Not because something sad happened...

But because something just out of reach happened.

I saw with my little eyes, 5, yes, 5 pairs of tap shoes.

AND they were all this style! THIS EXACT SHOE!!!!! GAAAHHHH!!!!!!!!!!
AND they were sizes 11 1/2 in kids and 3s and 4s and i think another 11 and 1/2.
The FIFTH pair.... was an 8!!!!!!!!!!!
JUST ONE SIZE TOO SMALL!!!!!!

I tried them on anyway, and they fit on my feet. Just not very well. I could hardly feel my toes and they hurt. But I just sat there admiring them on my feet, in complete luxury with those metal taps on my toes.
Then I finally gave in and took them off.
Is it just me or is God giving me a major sign or something?
I have never in my life seen tap shoes anywhere and in the last 5 days I have seen tap shoes at least 3 times. As well as that I happened upon a tap dancing book at the library and picked it up, only to look in it and realize that I LOVE TAP DANCING! Oh wait I already knew that.
So tap dancing has majorly come up in my life PROBABLY for a reason that is yet to be discovered...

you'll probably hear about it soon on here though. :)

I so enjoyed that minute of luxury wearing those tap shoes.

I was just browsing on Google and thought of looking at tap dancing shoes. Lately I've been really interested in tap dancing and have been thinking about taking lessons. It's not official... I haven't even really discussed it at all- pretty much I have just been thinking about it. In my head. Duhhh where else would you think?

So anyway, I found a picture of these shoes...aren't they adorable? I absolutely love the bows. They are so cute.
