Hopefully you found out about some new movies and enjoyed more of the ones you have seen.
So now Movie Moments is leaving to join some other... movie thing. Auditions and all.

Yesterday's Movie Moment Pics & Today's Movie Moments:

Hello! Happy Wednesday. Here is yesterday's Movie Moments.
I haven't seen this movie in a while but last time we watched it I enjoyed it. :)

And now....

Today's Movie Moments....

We just watched this movie a few days ago and it's so cute! Judy Garland has a unique voice, and the whole story is great. What I think is funny is that the story is set in wintertime, the only summer parts are the beginning and one minute at the end. haha. :)
In the Good Old Summertime is about a girl who sends letters to her pen pal, and they don't know who each one is. In reality, the girl and her least favorite coworker are writing! The coworker finds out but doesn't tell the girl.
It's such a cute movie, even though I don't go for the romantic mushy gushy oozie woozie parts. But it's only like 2 minutes long so I'm ok with it :).

In the bottom picture, doesn't the little girl look exactly like Judy Garland? There's a good reason. It's her daughter! When we watched the movie I was like, "That looks exactly like her!"

So I'm planning on tomorrow being the last day of Movie Moments... unless I forget, haha.
Goodbye, Movie Moments....hello Macro Monday! lol!
Love yah guys!

Twosday Favs 7 / Movie Moments

Hey guys! Super sorry that I am not on my computer, so I can't load any pictures... WAAAHH!!!!

So,
Click here to see my first Twosday Fav. Hello Dolly! Ok, so her dress is more than just a tad low cut but hey who can beat shimmery gold! I'm sure to have pictures up later today or tomorrow.
Here's another one. It's another picture of Dolly. This movie I haven't seen in a while but I'm starting to run out of classical movies to do Movie Moments on!! GASP! Is this the end?

My second Twosday Fav...
I know, I know. I've used this picture before. But like I said before, I'm not on my computer, it's a public computer so I can't load any new pictures up. Hope you don't mind that for today. I'm reading all the ND (Nancy Drews) in order. I'm on No. #26 right now.
I have actually only read 23 because 3 of them are ones with ghosts or something and I'm not going to read those. I hadn't read the Whispering Statue (#15 I think) because I thought it was bad, but it's not! I read the 1937 version. Sometimes the 1937 versions are better than the more recent (usually 1970s) versions. Just to let you know. Now I really have to get a-going, buhbye!
Love yah :)

Movie Moments: Sabrina

Audrey Hepburn starres in some of the most classic movies. Sabrina is one of them. A young girl whose father works for a very rich man is in love with the son of the rich family. But Sabrina is just a poor worker to the men. She goes to Paris, to a cooking school , to try to forget the fated romance. When she returns surprising things happen.
I used to not enjoy this movie but watching it again, I like it. It has a great story line and it's very enjoyable.

Remember, I'm looking for your opinions on some more movies to do for Movie Moments. :)
Love yah guys!

Movie Moments: Seven Brides for Seven Brothers

Lucky you followers, getting to see my all-time favorite again.

You are probably so sick of seeing these pictures...

Well, today I was planning to do Movie Moments on Calamity Jane but then I realized I think it is not up to our standards... our standards went up a while back and I think there was one scene we would skip over anyway. I remember it being a cute and funny movie but I hate it whenever I suggest something to someone and then it's bad. That's just a terrible thing to happen.
:)
Lighter subject now, my friends.

I want YOUR opinion! Please comment about a movie you would like me to do a Movie Moments on. I'll have tons of fun doing one you would like... I've run out of ideas right now. I don't remember classic movies that well. :)
Thank y'all (am I becoming western or somethang?)
Have a great Friday! Love yah

Movie Moments: Roman Holiday

It's been a few months since I've seen this movie but it is a very sweet movie. Her outfits capture a perfect vintage style we all wish to have. Her royal deportment is something we all want to carry ourselves, and he sweet smile is something classic.

In Roman Holiday, "a bored and sheltered princess escapes her guardians and falls in love with an American newsman in Rome". IMDb.

I love that this movie shows a princess living a normal life. I think they captured how a princess would really feel if she ever got into this predicament. Have you ever dreamed about being a princess yourself? I think it's something all girls dream about, even when they get older, although not in the same way. Even young lady's want to be someones princess. :) It's a dream that never leaves us!

Movie Moments: The Happiest Millionaire

The Happiest Millionaire around has got to be Anthony Biddle.
When an Irish immigrant comes to apply for a job as a butler for Mr. Biddle, he realizes how kooky the family is. They have alligators as pets!!
It's been a while since I've seen this movie but I remember it being a fun, cute movie. I would definitly watch it again. The fun songs, the classic charm, the old Disney musical... it's such a wonderful movie. I personally love old musicals and that was originally what the whole Movie Moments was going to be- "Musical Moments". But instead it's just Movie Moments. :) I love the old classics.

Movie Moments: My Fair Lady

The last time I watched this movie was quite a while ago but it is a charming movie. It's funny that Audrey Hepburn sang in the movie, and her voice wasn't perfect. I guess back then people didn't lip sync (haha).

The classic black-and-white style of My Fair Lady captures our attention with the dramatic contrast and fine detail. All the frills, lace, and ladylike accesories make for a very attractive outfit.

Don't you wish these wonderful nightgowns were still the normal bedtime wear? I think they are very feminine. Not that I would wear them everywhere... that would be quite... strange. But I do love them.

From my point of view I think that the movie could be cleaner but is, all in all, a classic movie that captures the hearts of all who watch it.
