Proverbs 31 Days of Discipline

(scheduled post)
For the new year, I drew up a plan following verses 10-31 of Proverbs 31 that goes 31 days. Each day, I will try to learn and be more like the Proverbs 31 woman, praying to the LORD, spending more time helping around the house, having a better attitude in general, and learning alot about being selfless. (Not selfish, selfless. They look alot alike and I know I would read it wrong, so I don't want anyone to read that wrong and be like... "she's learning about how to be selfish?")
Hopefully I can post up the whole plan and publish a free download at my store!
As part of this 31 Day plan, I am going to try to not post for the entire time. I'm starting on Jan. 1st, so this might be the last post for a while- and maybe
via swagbucks search                                                 the last post of the year!

Is it SERIOUSLY almost 2012?

This is how I feel about resolutions... :)

I just realized that I didn't get on Blogger on Christmas!! I am very proud of myself, because I usually do get on the computer and I wanted a pretty much computer-free day, and I did it!

I can't believe that the new year is almost here.
We only have a few more hours to live in 2011.
Do we want to look back on this year and question "Just what exactly did I do that year?"
Every year around this time, I start feeling like I need to DO something.
I need to accomplish something with my time.
Nobody will ever again be able to do anything in 2011 again.

So, what am I going to do with this priceless time?

What's Up: 12.28.12 The Smelly Raccoon Caper

Well....
here is a schedule of my night.
2:00 Wake up.
2:30 Go back to sleep
4:00 Hear wierd screeching sounds.
4:15 Get out of bed.
4:20 Sit on couch. Suddenly overwhelming smell of skunk or dead animal overtakes you... and your house.
4:25 Go around your house opening windows
4:30 Turn on computer and watch Princess Protection Program
6:00 Go to bed again.
9:47 Wake up.
9:50 Post on Blogger.

Nice, huh? Now I'm thinking we won't end up driving to a friend's house at 10:00.
I'm really glad we got those four hours of sleep, though!

Well, it's almost breakfastime now, and
I want:
Hot Chocolate

and
Cheeseburgers

and
Garlic Pizza

and normal pizza:

YUM!!!!!!

And let's talk about this:
'Nuff said. :)

A-hem...

AAAAHHH!!!!!
I just realized

(I warned you)

I forgot

COMPLETELY FORGOT

that I was doing FBIET

because I am SO unreliable when it comes to these things

soo......

Finding Beauty In Everyday Things

is not really...

here anymore.

Hehe....
I'll give the rest to you through my archive:

Day 4: Shadows

Day 5: Words

Day 6: Reflection

Day 7: Christmas
I know this is blurry, but I was trying to capture the reflection of the lights on the glass, and the verse.
Soooooo.... it's blurry, but I like it! :)

Merry Christmas Eve-Eve and I cannot BELIEVE I forgot about this!!!!!
Hehe.
Mary

P.S.
Anytime I say "I'm going to do something everyday for a week"
Don't believe it. :)

Have you ever had one of those moments

when you laugh so hard
for 2 minutes straight
and when you stop
you look at your sister
and start laughing again?
all because of a picture
that totally made you laugh
that was about cats

Seriously,

JesusChick rocks.

BEST.
PICTURE.
EVER.

The roly-poly cat wearing the sweater?
The wanting a box and not a scratching post?
Sleeping on sweaters?

After all this,
I HAVE A QUESTION.

A very serious question.

Do you have a cat?

I especially want to know if JesusChick has a cat...

because she's awesome

and has funny cat pictures.

:)

Finding Beauty In Everyday Things Day 2&3

I warned you I was not very reliable!

I took this picture yesterday (or the day before... I forget) but technically it is truly yesterday's!

Day 2: Animals
This isn't exactly beautiful.... so I guess you could say this is my oxymoron. :)

Day 3: Light

This is a picture from the past, but there isn't really any light around here (hence December) and so I thought I'd give you something worth looking at. :) Lol.
So, thanks for coming to Day 2 and 3 of FBIET!

(Now it's time for my usual see-you-later-in-some-other-language-via-google-translate)

Finding Beauty In Everyday Things Day 1

Welcome to the first day of Finding Beauty In Everyday Things!

Day 1: Water
I know this picture is very lame- it's 9:30 PM and I have no good excuse for not posting earlier today, except that I forgot. :)

Since that picture is not exactly up to the criteria I wished it to be, here is picture from my past files.

Sorry for posting so late, and thanks for joining the first day of FBIET!

Day 7: Christmas

This week will start December 19th and end Christmas Eve, December 24th.

But remember, there's no linky tool, so if you want to share, comment with a link to the post.

Christmas Checklist: The Ornaments

1. Lights
2. Candy Canes
3. Christmas Tree
4. Ornaments

I had such a hard time getting a picture of this because it's clear. I'll try to get more pics of it up later!

Everyone's Cameras

This is really super random,
but I noticed that 2 people:
and
both got new amazing cameras (Hooray!!!) and they named them.

Well, that just struck me funny because I don't name my cameras.... no offense, I mean I think it's really cute that they named theirs, I had just never thought about it before!
So

Alfonzo

and
Nikki

are these particular cameras.

My camera's name is....

(get ready for something really so exciting you will be blown away by it's superness)

Fujifilm Finepix s1800.
http://www.amazon.com/Fujifilm-FinePix-S1800-Digital-Stabilized/dp/B0035JD0DW/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1323706096&sr=1-1
Haha.

No, I never named my camera...but I got it like 2 years ago (or maybe just one), but anyway, I think the warranty has expired, and it still works!
Sometimes I think, "Hey, I want a camera like this:"

Fujifilm Finepix S9000 9MP Digital Camera with 10.7x Wide Optical Zoom
or this:
Leica V-Lux2 Super Zoom Digital Camera with 14.1 Megapixels CMOS Sensor, 24x Optical Zoom, 1080i AVCHD Full HD Video Recording (18393)
But I don't even really use the fancy one I have right now - I barely know how to work it's custom setting. So I would more likely use something like this:
to capture those everyday moments.
And to drop in my purse and take wherever and not care that
if I dropped it I might be losing a billion dollars!

But I would still like to someday use one where the zoom button is a twisty thing located on the lens...

COMPLETELY AWESOME!!!!

Like this....
WOW!!!!!

Dreaming of $100,000,000,000,000,000 worth of camera.....
